Job Connection is an employment resource center for businesses and employers. We are open to the public from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday. Job Connection will provide you with resources that include:

CalJOBS is a website maintained by the Employment Development Department. This valuable tool allows you to post your job listing in order to reach a larger pool of applicants. Each month over 4000 job seekers search CalJOBS to find employment. www.caljobs.ca.gov

Internet Access

Search for information you need on the Internet, even if you don’t have Internet access at your business. Stop by one of our convenient One-Stop locations.

Access employment and economic information such as industry projections, employment statistics, wage information and labor force analysis.

Business Resource Library

Browse the Internet, access our employer websites regarding labor law, tax law, disability information; review unemployment insurance informational pamphlets or books on business management practices, best hiring practices, legal and effective interview questions and employee retention tips.

Interview Facilities

If you prefer to interview at an off-site location or don’t have space, contact Job Connection. We can accommodate a small or large numbers of applicants at our sites. Contact your local One-Stop for more information.

Job Fairs and Recruitment

Job Connection and its One-Stop partners sponsor yearly workforce related job fairs and assist with employer recruitment needs. Contact your local One-Stop for more information.

Downsizing and Layoff Assistance

Our team will meet with you on or off site in a downsizing or lay-off situation. Job Connection will assist you in helping your laid-off employees with access to Unemployment Insurance information, assistance to put together a resume, and determine whether they may be eligible for other services.

Training Costs Reimbursements

Financial incentives to offset the expense of employing and training Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible individuals through Work Experience and On-the-Job Training. Benefits employers by placing job seekers who are motivated and eager to learn new skills, with an employer who is willing to train.
